ABOUT ME
I have had a camera in my hand since I was around the age of 3. At
that young age, not much was worthy of keeping, but it was the joy I
experienced in holding the camera and seeing the images through it
that whet my appetite for future endeavors in the field of photography.
I began my use of photography as a means of expression in junior high
school as part of the yearbook committee, but didn’t really pursue it
until many years later. It was during photography classes at
Los Angeles Valley College in 1999 that I offered my photographs for
public display. It was after a class assignment, Nude, sold at a
charity silent auction bidding war that I began to see that this
could be more than just a hobby. I then exhibited a series of
photographs at a downtown Los Angeles gallery in February 2000.
That turned into two additional shows and several sales a few months
later.
I have also been the on-site photographer at Entertainment Industry
Foundation volunteer events for the past 10 years and subsequently
had two photographs printed in The Hollywood Reporter in an article
on Philanthropy in Hollywood during the spring of 2002.
I continue to learn and grow as a photographer every time I pick up
my camera and try new techniques and ideas.
